“Welcome to Mola di Bari” is the perfect stay for first-time visitors to the Bari coastal area or for those returning and looking to experience it in a deeper, more authentic way. This stay is designed for travelers who want to connect with locals, explore everyday life in a charming Apulian town, and immerse themselves in Italian language and culture through meaningful hands-on experiences. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already speak some Italian, this experience meets you where you are through real-life practice, cultural connection, and guided support. This handcrafted experience is open to solo travelers, couples, or small groups, and will take place even with just one participant. To keep the experience personal and immersive, each stay is limited to 5 guests. The cost is €500 per person, reflecting the depth, care, and exclusivity of what you’ll experience.

What’s Included

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome to Mola di Bari

Pick-up from Mola di Bari train station
Stroll through town to shop for fresh ingredients with me: meet the local baker, deli owner, and greengrocer, and practice useful phrases as you interact with locals
Welcome Apulian dinner experience: share a delicious meal together

Day 2: Polignano or Bari (your choice), and Italian Coffee

Morning visit to Polignano a Mare or Bari. We’ll take the bus or train together and enjoy a stroll around the town for a more authentic experience. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to go shopping or simply explore at your own pace.
Italian coffee culture moment: enjoy a coffee or tea together in the piazza while learning how to order at the bar like a true Italian

Day 3: Market and Cook like a local

Morning visit to the market: learn how to interact with vendors and shop in Italian like a local
Afternoon Apulian cooking class (3-4 hours): from antipasto to dessert, in a local’s home kitchen

Day 4: Nonna Pina and Goodbye for Now

Lunch at Nonna Pina’s: experience a traditional homemade meal
Drop-off at Mola di Bari train station

Please note: Accommodation is not included, giving you the freedom to choose the style and budget that fits you best. However, if you need help finding a B&B or hotel nearby, just let me know and I’ll send you personalised suggestions based on your needs.
For a more immersive experience, I can also share details about a homestay option with a bubbly, full-of-energy Italian nonna. You’ll be welcomed like family and experience authentic local life.

Check-in is on Thursday, and you’re free to decide when to check out. If you’d like to extend your stay in Mola di Bari as your base to explore more of Puglia, you’re welcome to do so.

To keep the experience intimate and personal, each group is limited to a maximum of 5 guests.

As spots are limited and might tend to fill up quickly, especially during popular months like May and September, I highly recommend booking as soon as you’ve confirmed your travel dates or flights!
